Advisor
Fixed Term until June 2023
Employment portfolio, MSD Service delivery
In the Employment Portfolio we strive to ensure New Zealanders are supported to prepare for, find and sustain suitable employment.
We are currently looking for a passionate Advisor to join our Digital Employment Value stream.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding and keen interest in the key issues facing the MSD and Government regarding employment/future services
- proven ability to work collaboratively and responsively in an ambiguous and high-profile sector
- proven ability to contribute and support work programmes on a broad range of issues to deliver government employment initiatives
- experience in providing high quality advice and subject matter expertise
- excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- the ability to provide input to identifying issues that may impact on work programmes and delivery
- proven experience delivering quality work within timeframes
Your skills and experience:
- experience in providing advice and support within the Public Sector
- supporting a varied work programme and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- proven experience of managing relationships internally
- a high level of computer literacy which includes Microsoft package
- excellent communication skills including the ability to present clear, concise written documentation
Position Description
Salary range: $71,943.00 – $87,931.00
