South West Detention Centre needs a forward thinking leader to join the management team, and manage the institutional support service operations including food services, laundry, housekeeping and maintenance. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the institutions support services, and the overall strategic and operational planning activities, including direct oversight of a team of institutional managers and staff.
At South West Detention Centre, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, working with a diverse team of correctional staff. You will be pivotal in fostering a culture that is grounded in collaboration and respect, while also driving cultural change, with a focus on promoting inclusiveness, diversity and anti-racism strategies to enable continuous institutional improvements. You will utilize your keen ability to coach, mentor and develop staff and colleagues, while establishing a positive workplace culture.
