Mintable is hiring a conscientious Finance Executive to be part of our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer (COO), you will be the first member of our Finance team and we will look to you to handle all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role is crucial for the company as you will be the gatekeeper of all things finance related and be able to provide suggestions that can be implemented in our young organisation. Working in collaboration with our COO, you will:

• Manage and monitor all aspects of accounts payable and receivable
• Liaise with vendors such as our accounting firm and corporate secretary
• Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements
• Perform reconciliations and automation work where required
• Manage office petty cash and expense claims
• Assist in documentation of existing processes policies
• Support the formulation, review and implement new Finance policies, process and initiatives
• Examine financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures

QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we’ll love for you to have:

• A diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in handling account receivable and accounts payable duties
• At least 2 years experience in using Xero or Quick Book
• An open mind about learning about cryptocurrencies and NFTs
• Experience in handling foreign currencies
• A meticulous nature, with an ability to work under pressure to meet tight schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong communicator
• A high degree of integrity, initiative and honesty
• A passion for learning as everyday’s a new opportunity to grow and develop your skills
• Experience working in the big 4 firm is advantageous
