MIRA Safety Hiring for Warehouse Associate at Austin, TX Full Time

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.

Positions Available:

Days: 8:00am – 5:00 pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

Nights: 3:30pm – 1200am (0.5hr unpaid lunch)

Weekends: part time – 8:00am – 5:00 pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Picking and packing customer orders

– Shipping & receiving

– Stocking of equipment and supplies

– Warehouse organization and upkeep

– Inventory and tracking of supplies on-hand

– Ensure that the work environment is maintained clean, safe, and organized

– Scan and confirm the accuracy of products to be shipped

– Ship through common carriers

– Stock products and make boxes

– Other duties as assigned

– Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude

– Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

– Ability to multitask and prioritize

– Strong focus on safety

– Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policy

– Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

– Bending, stooping and must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs

– Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

– Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

Required:

– must be able to pass a drug test

– possess a valid Texas driver’s license

– Veterans: provide DD-214

Preferred:

– High school diploma or GED preferred (18+required)

– English language speaking and writing proficiency

– Previous military experience
