Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 7.00 – 15.30 and 10.30 – 19.00 on weekly rotation basis
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £11.10 per hours
Location: University of Sussex

Sussex Estates and Facilities (SEF) is looking to appoint a residential porter to join our team at one of our residences at the University of Sussex . The primary function of the post holder is to carry out porter duties, attend to both student and visitor enquires, carry out minor maintenance and inspections and to offer assistance to our residents. Some cleaning, patrol and other associated duties will be required.

This job would suit an individual who is:

• Proactive and reliable team player who can work using their own initiative;
• Committed to the delivery of excellent Customer Service in a diverse working environment;
• Able to communicate clearly and has clear and concise oral and written communication skills;
• PC literate and has the knowledge and skills to use a computer and other related technology;
• Flexible and able to work additional hours when required.
