Mitre 10 Looking for Trade Yard fixed term at Crofton Downs, Wellington Full Time

Come and join the excellent team in the Trade Yard. We are looking for someone who has an interest in the building industry and can deliver exceptional customer service both to our DIY customers and to our tradies. You will have a willingness to learn building products, materials and their applications to assist our Trade and DIY customers. As well as understanding the importance of providing outstanding customer service each and every time to all our customers no matter what their background might be.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Is physically fit and able to do heavy lifting to support the team
• Have excellent communication and organization skills
• Willingness to learn and use initiative, with a quick and alert mind

A full drivers licence advantageous but not essential as would be a forklift license or ability to obtain this. Previous retail experience and/or experience within the building industry will also be viewed very favourably.

This is a fixed term position, 4 days, Friday to Monday, starting immediately till end of February 2023. The ideal candidate will also be flexible with days and times to meet customers and business needs.
