We are looking for a passionate Barista/Cafe Assistant who loves excellent coffee, good food and enjoys interacting with our awesome customers. Columbus Coffee in Hawkes Bay is locally owned and operated – this opportunity is Hastings based.

Our people are full of personality, work hard, and most of all enjoy coming to work in a high energy, customer’s always (usually) right, friendly team!

You Will

• Have a genuine passion for hospitality, especially coffee.
• Be keen and willing to learn the art of making coffee the Columbus way.
• Love talking to customers and about anything and everything.
• Have a sixth gear when we get slammed.
• Come in every day with an awesome vibe and ready to work.
• Be flexible in availability – our Cafes operate 7-days a week. Daytime hours only!Ideally you will have experience in a busy Cafe churning out great coffees, however we are also happy to train you if you have a serious passion for making good coffee.
