Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Cafe Assistant / Barista – Columbus Coffee Warkworth at Warkworth, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Your Typical Day-to-day With Us Would Look Like This

• Assist customers as required, respond to customer requests and process customer orders (will be assisting with Barista function and attend to daily FOH duties)
• Always maintain a high level of food and general hygiene practice, working to Health, Safety and Hygiene standards
• Preparation and presentation of counter food and beverages
• Cleaning of all café areas, including cups, plates, saucers, and cutlery, to ensure service times are maintained
• Support kitchen team as and when required
• Cash Handling

You Would Ideally Have The Following

• Proven Barista skills preferred
• Be available to work as least one weekend day
• Be knowledgeable about both food and beverage products on offer
• Have a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Have a passion for providing great food and beverages
• Experienced working in a fast-paced café environment beneficial
• Clear, strong communication skills operating in a small team
