Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Columbus Cafe Te Awamutu Front of House – Barista at Greater Tauranga Area Full Time

Columbus Coffee is one of New Zealand’s most recognized brands serving premium café food and award winning coffee.

The Mitre 10 MEGA Columbus Café in Te Awamutu is visited by regular customers and new customers excited to experience what makes us such a busy Café.

We are seeking an exceptional experienced hospitality superstar to join our team in a front of house capacity.

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• Have a minimum of 1 years experience making coffee in a fast paced environment
• Have passion for customer service excellence
• Have a quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible
• Have a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
• Love working in and collaborating with a team
• Be energetic, positive and enthusiastic
• Have strong attention to detail
• Have a passion for great food and coffee
• Have the ability to multitask and stay focused when under pressure
• Full training will be given to Columbus Coffee standard
• Basic food preparation experience desired but not essential as full training will be given
• Is 41 hours a week. Tuesday 7am – 4pm, Wednesday 7am – 4pm, Thursday 6:45-4pm,

Friday 7am – 4pm, Saturday 7:45 – 4pm

• It is primarily a front of house role that requires excellent barista skills, customer service, waitressing and basic food service preparation
