We have an exciting opportunity available to join Mitre 10 Ponsonby as an Inventory Team Member.

In this exciting role, your primary goal is to excel in inventory management, playing a key role in enhancing our business success. This will include optimising store inventory, ensuring the accuracy of both physical and computerised records, and maintaining a customer-centric approach in all aspects of your work.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager your key functions will include:

• Create an epic experience for our customers that make their shopping journey simple, easy, and brilliant when it matters.
• Smooth management of the inventory systems to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
• Ensure product is accurately tracked in-store and replenished as required, so that high merchandise standards can be maintained, enabling a seamless experience for our customers.
• Correct ticketing to enable desired profit margin to be reached and to efficiently manage shelf GAPs within the store.
• Curiosity to grow product knowledge and share information with customers and co-workers.
• A willingness to work across multiple or different departments as needed.
• Replenish product throughout the day maintaining high merchandise presentation standards and enable a seamless experience for our customers.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• Proven expertise with inventory, ideally within a complex or large retailer.
