Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Mitre 10 Kerikeri Inwards Good Receiver at Northland, New Zealand Full Time

Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will be responsible for coordinating incoming stock from our suppliers. This involves ensuring stock is checked off and entered into our computerised inventory system in a quick and timely manner, and that stock flows through the business to reach the shelves in a timely manner to satisfy customer demand. As a Mitre 10 Team member, you will provide an exceptional customer experience, regardless of your position within the store.

Applicants must have a full driver’s license and, as this role requires the use of forklifts to unload and load trucks, holding a current F endorsed forklift license would be an advantage. This role is a physical, hands-on role in a busy area of the business. Accuracy, attention to detail, planning & organisation and communication are all essential skills for this role.

Previous experience in warehousing and/or inventory management would be advantageous. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday 40 hours a week.

The successful applicant will;

• Be physically fit as there will be heaving lifting, prolonged standing, lifting and ladder use
• Have an eye for detail and ability to follow processes with accuracy
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be well organised and able to manage time effectively
• Be flexible and able to think on your feet
• Have Basic familiarity with computers and keyboard skills

The Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible For

• Managing the accurate and efficient transition of stock through the inwards goods area
• Ensure that stock is stored safely, securely and strategically for ease of access.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and greater Inwards area
• Accuracy of electronic processes around stock control – transfers/credits/claims/returns/receipting
• Ensure all H & S protocols are followed relating to vehicles and equipment in the area.
