Kiwis love to garden and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. We are looking for an experienced retail sales professional with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude. Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training – either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right dry goods and hardware, whether it’s fertilizers and pest control or gardening gloves and a wheel barrow.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

• Enthusiasm and team spirit;
• A passion for customer service excellence;
• Good time management;
• A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible
• A good level of physical fitness (as some heavy lifting is required)
• Willingness to learn; and
• Excellent communication skills

This is a part time position, working rostered hours Sunday and Monday (16 hours per week).
