If you’re an experienced recruiter with a customer first mindset and a focus on candidate experience, keep on reading! We are currently looking for a Recruitment Partner to join our team based at our Albany Support Centre.

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate supporting the Talent and Recruitment Lead with delivering a best-in-class recruitment experience you will also be responsible for junior level recruitment as well supporting across all administrative elements of the recruitment process from candidate care, through to pre-employment checks and the preparation of employment documentation.

Having a passion for continuous improvement and a strong drive for recruiting talent, the candidate experience will be key to your delivery along with supporting the business to fill requirements as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, your key functions will include:

• Responsible for end-to-end recruitment across the Support Centre, coaching leaders to make sound recruitment decisions based around both technical and behavioural competencies.
• Provide administrative support during the recruitment process including candidate screening and care, preparing and advertising vacant roles, updating and managing the Applicant Tracking System (Phoenix) and pre-employment checking, ensuring any adverse results are discussed with the hiring manager and People team for next steps.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Solid recruitment experience gained in a complex environment or similar industry (preference towards retail or industry of a similar pace)
• Sound understanding of NZ employment legislation
• A steep learning aptitude and exposure to a range of recruitment tech solutions (currently we use Phoenix as our ATS and Saville for assessments – but experience with these tools is not required)
• A high EQ, self-awareness, personal resilience and a sense of humour required to thrive in a considerable changing and fast-paced environment.
