Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Trade Administrator – Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale at Silverdale, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We have an exciting vacancy for a blended inventory and admin role in our timber and building and trade sales teams with the main responsibility of maintaining stock accuracy.

Our ideal candidate would have a background that encompasses stock control, merchandising and ticketing and has a strong commercial acumen with a track record of precise administration.

Duties

The day-to-day duties of this role include managing optimum levels of stock on hand for the trade department as well as the below

• Liaise with Trade Managers to gauge sales projections on any new lines.
• Facilitate stock transfers to allow efficiencies in stock management for replenishment purpose to maximize stock on hand when required.
• Participate in a weekly gap scan to identify and resolve issues causing physical gaps on the shelf.
• Manage order totals to reduce freight costs, report on-going issues to GM Trade.
• Approve customer orders and place orders with suppliers as soon as possible.
• Complete, provide and maintain management reports when requested by management.
