As the largest home improvement store in New Zealand, we pride ourselves on having the best product range, presented in the best way, with the best on shelf availability for our customers. We have an amazing garden center, great coffee shop, and huge showroom.

Our dedicated Trade Department would like you to compliment the team as a part-time Checkout Operator where we have two opportunities.

Roster pattern:

• Saturday (07:00-15:30) OR
• Friday and Saturday (10:30-19:00) OR

Our ideal candidate:

• Has previous cash handling / point of sale experience
• Has High numerical skills and pays attention to detail?
• Is Dedicated to providing an excellent customer service experience
• Has experience in Trade or has a genuine interest in the industry
• Is technology Savvy with the ability to pick up our checkout systems with ease
• Has an awareness and understanding of health and safety

The duties of this role:

• Process transactions including cash, eftpos, credit cards, gift vouchers etc.
• Process applicable loyalty card programs
• Provide information on products, across features & benefits and price ranges.
• Answer questions and queries from customers and make recommendations
