SUMMARY
Provide overall management of all activities for Steam and Gas Turbine specialty repairs and Generator testing and repairs for North and South Americas managing resources, coordinating business operations with all other business units, monitoring and developing teams thru administration processes thru improvements and engaging Mitsubishi Powers internal and external customers to ensure sustainability to meet business services objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead in the strategic planning, development and management of the Steam and Gas Turbine specialty repairs and Generator testing and repairs for North and South America.
• Forecast Sales and gross margin levels for Turbine and generator repairs on annual basis;
• Develop and maintain/control TGR’s departmental expense budget on annual basis;
• Forecast direct labor requirements for the TGR business segment;
• Manage any future planning and expansion of the TGR organization to support future service business growth and additional capability requirements;
• Communicate with customers to understand their service needs and requirements, and manage all TGR requirements;
• Oversee capital expenditure request, order and maintenance of tools as required to support field activity;
• Develop and evaluate subcontractors for labor sources in locations where Mitsubishi Power provide services; • Oversee the generator Re-Engineering program for oOEM generator parts;
• Provide training to TGR employees in all areas and support interview and select new employees as required;
• Assist in the evaluation of the financial results of TGR on a monthly, Quarterly and annual basis;
• Collaborate with finance team on development and updates of revenue / OP forecast, including Absorption estimation.
• Business travel (at least 25%) overnight, land and/or air as required by customer needs;
• Perform other such duties as may be required.

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Engineering from four-year college or university; or at least fifteen (15) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.
