Assignment Start Date: 7/23/2024

13 weeks | Days | 12-hour shift | 36 hours/week guaranteed

Department Description

The LDRP team offers labor, delivery, and recovery including postpartum and newborn care by a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff in a family-centered caring, and medically safe environment. All sites are trained in GYN surgical care.

Experience/Education/Qualification

Experience:

• NLH Labor and Delivery:
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required.
• Previous experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. Will train qualified RNs with Perinatal experience.
• NLH Postpartum Gynecological Unit:
• Previous Perinatal nursing experience preferred.
• NLH Nursery:
• Experience in the stabilization of the newborn is preferred.
• One (1) year experience as a general duty nurse with emphasis on adult and/or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Previous experience in the stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS is required upon submission.
• STABLE preferred.
• NLH Labor and Delivery:
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required.
• ACLS and NRP are preferred.
• NLH Postpartum Gynecological/NLH Nursery Unit:
• NRP preferred.

EMR System: EPIC Knowledge/experience preferred

Shift: Days (0700-1930) Rotating weekends
