=== SHIFT LEAD JOB DESCRIPTION ===

As a Shift Lead you will oversee the operations of your shift, while managing, coaching & training the crew, counting cash, completing paperwork, resolving customer complaints and ensuring all required tasks are completed. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of the shift run smoothly.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direction and feedback to the crew during your shift
• Ensure all tasks & duties are completed efficiently & effectively
• Assist in handling last-minute scheduling issues & absences
• Train, coach and motivate crew members
• Report the need for equipment repairs or replacements to management
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Provide every customer with awesome service – addressing & resolving their concerns or complaints
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment
• DAY SHIFT LEAD: Complete Opener List, Oversee and Ensure the Completion of Prep and Before/After Lunch Lists (Always “Inspect What You Expect!!”) and Lead your Team thru a Fast-Paced but Well-Run Lunch Rush, etc.
• NIGHT SHIFT LEAD: Oversee and Ensure the Completion of the Before/After Dinner Lists (Always “Inspect What You Expect!!”), Lead your Team through a Fast-Paced but Well-Run Fast-Paced Dinner Rush, and Complete Closer List, etc.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or similar supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
• Commitment to excellent service
• Work well within a team – attending to your own tasks while overseeing that others complete theirs accurately
• Leadership skills and ability to make fast & effective decisions
• Strong problem-solving and solution oriented abilities
• Ability to stand for long periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
