Momentum Consulting Group Looking for Desktop Support at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

As a Desktop Support Technician for our client, you will be on the front lines of the IT support team, ensuring that our clients’ desktop and laptop systems run smoothly. You will provide technical assistance, resolve hardware and software issues, and offer outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to end-users for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware and software.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshooting network connectivity problems and assisting with network-related issues.
• Assisting with hardware and software upgrades and deployments.
• Responding to service requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Documenting support activities and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Collaborating with IT team members to improve processes and user experiences.

Your Background

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or degree preferred.
• 3+ years as a Desktop Support Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing exceptional service.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A+ certification or equivalent is a plus.
