About The Role
Reporting to a part-time CPO initially, the Head of Human Resources will enjoy working alongside the senior leadership team, with one direct report currently. This is likely to increase with potential business acquisitions and investment opportunities.

About You
With a Bachelor’s degree, you will likely have 10+ years experience in HR, and this will ideally have been in a medium to large Industrial, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Technology company, Import & Distribution business or the Investment sector.
Bringing working knowledge of medium to large company dynamics, you will be able to associate well with others that do not directly report to you. Your experience working in a commercial organisation will be important; as will your drive and proven record of a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
You will have a proven ability of working with and influencing staff, as well as internal and external leaders. With strong leadership and management skills, you will be able to point to experience successfully motivating and leading teams.
Our client is keen for someone to ideally be based in Northland but if living elsewhere, you would need to be in the Northland H.O for at least 2 days per week. They can help with finding suitable accommodation for you, for 1 – 2 nights per week, but this is not their preferred option as it can get hard.
There is flexibility to work partly from home, possibly one to two days per week, or more when you don’t need to be in other offices.
With excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you will be keen to progress your career in a dynamic business that is growing. There is an attractive remuneration package including salary and STI.
