Amar Development’s construction subsidiary, Monarch Homes, has built over 100 homes in the past 10 years, ranging from multi-family to single family, spec homes to custom homes, sized 2000sf to over 10,000sf. Together, Amar Development’s and Monarch Homes have built and operated several commercial building’s and businesses.

Amar Development’s and Monarch Homes are seeking a Construction Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will help improve efficiency and productivity by providing administrative support for new home and commercial construction, and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Assist with project tracking, reporting, budgets, schedules, and supplier/trade coordination
• Submit and track permits, utility requests, and other required applications
• Be a key point of contact for clients to provide product/service information, and assistance through the construction process from purchase to possession
• Coordinate walk-throughs/appointments, provide construction updates, track client information and change requests
• Track and schedule service requests and deficiencies after possession
• Assist in the implementation of systems to organize processes
• Maintain accurate and organized filing systems
• Effectively communicate with staff, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and other third-party professionals
• Maintain schedules and organize meetings
• General administrative tasks including filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, cost tracking, maintaining marketing materials, and tool/equipment management

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and customers
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maximize use of time in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes
• Motivated individual who is able to self-manage and work independently, and with a team
• Strong problem solving, customer service, and people management skills
• Construction administration or new home sales administration experience is an asset
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Knowledge of new home sales and construction is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software and systems
