+ Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job

+ Perform other duties as assigned

+ Wear all Personal Protection Equipment as directed and Work Safely.

+ Safety Equipment: glasses, gloves, earplugs, shoes, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable)

+ Locate spec sheet and all other paperwork

+ Determine supplies needed

+ Set feeder to size for order

+ Set chain lug spacing for bag width

+ Set counter stacker to proper width and length of bag

+ Re-thread sewing head as needed

+ Replace crepe tape, pull tape and thread as needed

+ Maintain supplies

+ Observe feeder/machine/counter stacker for jam ups

+ Inspect tubes as feeder is being loaded

+ Inspect hands of bags for proper amount and sewing properties (no skips)

+ Enter information into computer system

+ Clean work area

+ Blow off machine and work area

+ Sweep floor and remove trash

+ Work overtime when needed

Train people to ensure proper backfill in sewing department
