Mons Royale Looking for Head of Production and Sourcing at Otago, New Zealand Full Time
At Mons Royale, we believe in the benefits of action and adventure sports. The problem is that the clothing worn for these sports are F%ing the planet. We want to change that. Our mission is to shift the rider from synthetics to natural fibres.
We have an opportunity for a leader to join our production and sourcing team in our Wanaka office. You will champion the collaborative relationships with external partners that deliver on the Mons Royale mission.
What you will do:
- Drive the performance of our manufacturing partners and partnerships with them
- Develop long term vendor strategy that enables our growth and innovation aligned with company strategies
- Production and materials planning
- Champion cross-functional relations to ensure best product outcome
- Materials sourcing
- Lead vendor compliance and QC
- Team leadership
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in production or similar roles
- Experience in apparel/textile production delivering full on time
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Passion for textile innovation
- Proven track record in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
- Time management and prioritizing skills
