Role/Responsibilities
Moody’s Investors Service Technology team seeks an AVP – Software Engineer, with a solid focus on development of analytic tools and databases, to work on innovative projects related to structured finance analytics, performance reporting and regulation compliance.
The AVP – Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of analytic tools and databases used by analysts during the ratings process. You will be working with a capable team to deliver and support these custom applications, as well as lead full development cycles from requirements to delivery.
This role will suit a highly motivated problem solver with excellent communication and the ability to use their own initiative! Looking for a candidate who has a consistent record of successes developing quality software solutions, collaborating closely with customers, and adapting to the evolving needs of the business. Capable of working without close supervision is fundamental, as well as handling communication with business partners.

Compensation/Benefits Information
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $114,600 to $166,200, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
