We are currently looking for an Operations Administrator at one of our locations in Northeast Calgary. This position is a permanent full-time position (Monday to Friday) and extended health/dental benefits are offered after ninety days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Operations Administration & Purchasing Manager and department foremen providing support to ensure operational requirements are met
• Generate and maintain work orders and bar code tags
• Customer billing and invoicing
• Prepare documentation for customs (bills of lading) and coordinate with customs brokers on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Communicate with external customers and internal staff on various enquiries
• General office duties such as answering customer calls, data entry, maintaining databases, ordering supplies, etc.
• Cover other Operations Administrators during absences

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years administrative experience is required
• Must be comfortable communicating with clients and coworkers in a positive and professional manner, and overcome language barriers
• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Willing and able to work in an industrial environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and capability of learning new software programs quickly
• Possesses a positive attitude and great work ethic
