We are currently searching for an experienced software developer to create and maintain our in house software. The successful candidate will also help to develop critical products for our clients, and offer excellent technical support.

What you’ll do as a Software Developer:

• Developing and implementing new software programs.
• Developing and improving existing software.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.
• Writing and maintaining code.
• Working on minor bug fixes.
• Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.
• Responding to requests from the development team.
• Document implementations.
• Ensure all development is thoroughly tested.
• Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Directing system testing and validation procedures.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
• Working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
• Analysing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
• Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
• Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.

• Strong commercial experience with C#.Net, VB.Net and ASP.Net
• Strong commercial experience with RESTFUL and WEB API
• Strong commercial experience with Web Applications like Angular, HTML, Typescript and others
• Experience with SQL Scripts
• Experience with RDBMS like MS SQL, Postgres and the like
• Knowledgeable with NO SQL like MongoDB and the like
• Experience with Source Code Repository like TFS, Gitlab, Github and others
• Experience with CI/CD Tools like Octopus, Jenkins and others
• Experience of Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Knowledgeable with Linux environment like Ubuntu and bash scripts
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Understand the concept of Clean Code & TDD – Uncle Bob style (You don’t need to be an expert here)
