What You’ll Do
Responsible for managing all communications, support and guidance to all parties throughout the loan process, in a professional manner, with excellent customer service, and customer retention, in a fast- paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with operation and sales partners in aspects of the loan process.
- Communicates on a regular basis with all interested parties providing loan status updates.
- Request, gather, review and update the loan application as needed, based on supporting documentation received.
- Maintains regular contact with Loan Officer on status and needs of their files.
- Manages the loan pipeline to ensure closing the loan on or before the closing date/lock expiration date, subject to management review.
- Research loan programs and guidelines as needed.
- Ability to meet parties face to face, if needed.
- Clerical ad hoc duties, as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 to 4-year college curriculum preferred.
- Min. 1-2 years mortgage experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of Encompass Database Software and/or equivalent.
- P/C computer skills and solid understanding of MS Office.
- Mortgage banking industry terminology, programs and guidelines knowledge is a must.
- Excellent problem solving and attention to detail skills.
- Teamwork, productivity and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
