Mott MacDonald Looking for Account Manager – Moata Carbon Portal at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to become the New Zealand Account Manager for one of our headline products Moata Carbon Portal and the supporting Moata Net-Zero suite. Drawing upon the domain experience and digital expertise of your colleagues, you will be the primary contact for current and prospective clients helping convert opportunities and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

You will be part of an exciting team responsible for delivering our product which is currently used by our largest clients across the world, and you’ll be working with our local and wider team to scale it.

Specific duties include:

• Build trusted relationships with external and internal customers and identify customer challenges and priorities
• Engage with the internal software teams, the product owners, and managers to support the deployment and delivery of our products and associated services to Moata users alongside their SaaS experience
• Demonstrate a literacy and passion for decarbonisation and the ability to connect clients’ challenges to scalable digital solutions
• Form an engaged user group to connect customers with each other and share their lessons learnt and successes
• Work alongside our delivery teams to support the customer base to gain the most value they can from the SaaS products and associated services
• Lead market facing aspects of the product value proposition, including a transition from Moata Carbon Portal to Moata Net Zero
• Commercial management across the entire deployment lifecycle from early prospect to project close, supported by our delivery and operations teams
• Attending conferences, roadshows and events to upskill and network

Candidate Specification

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate person with solid carbon knowledge and a desire to help New Zealand achieve Net Zero. A growth mindset, ambition and energy are characteristics that are needed for this exciting new role. Above all, collaboration is of the utmost importance for a role that will bring people together in pursuit of a step change in how the infrastructure industry approaches carbon management and the race to Net-Zero.

About you:

• Previous experience in carbon or sustainability role
• Knowledge of the infrastructure industry and the role it must play in achieving Net-Zero
• Ability to drive sales through relationship building and establish meaningful industry partnerships
• A client-centric mindset with demonstrated experience in building authentic and trusting relationships
• Experience delivering data-driven technical solutions in either a cloud computing environment, SaaS, or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role
