Mott MacDonald Looking for Senior Digital Consultant at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Digital Consultant to join our growing Digital Advisory team within Mott MacDonald Digital Ventures global development hub based in Auckland. You will be working from our offices in Wynyard Quarter and will be supporting the global business.

You will shape digital project delivery using internal and emerging tools to influence continuous improvements. You will also have regular contact with our project Clients as you seek to develop improved solutions to their challenges. You will work alongside the project management teams providing insights from project information and supporting the ongoing strategic development of project delivery. You’ll be expected to innovate and build teams around great ideas as we respond to our client’s challenges at all stages of the asset lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead outstanding delivery of our products and services
• Provide high value digital consultancy to customers at enterprise, programme and project levels
• Support management and assist them in shaping strategies, adopting new ways of working and accelerating progress in unlocking the value of data and digital tools
• Develop innovative services which address emerging customer needs and drive growth
• Support management by playing an active role in resourcing, recruitment, bid / proposal development, opportunity qualification / prioritisation and people management
• Lead in the preparation and presentation of bids and proposals

Key skills and competencies:

• Experience in management consulting, BIM, IT or Engineering, ideally within the infrastructure industry

• Relevant experience in at least one of transportation, energy, water, buildings or environment sectors.

• Strong project management skills, with an appreciation of agile delivery
• Understanding of BIM and Information Management processes
• Knowledge of the latest digital processes and tools across infrastructure design, delivery and operations
• A strong customer-centric perspective that focused on outcomes and whole live value.

• Demonstrable passion for digital and delivering social, environmental and economic outcomes
• Strong communication skills, polished writing and confidence presenting
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or related discipline

• Understanding of digital transformation across people, technology and process
