Job Description
Our busy and growing water team in Auckland is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager.
As part of our dynamic team, you will manage projects from the early phases through to construction phase monitoring, and drive projects to an effective and successful conclusion. You will manage relationships with the relevant stakeholders including the client, consultants, contractors, and internal staff.
Our portfolio includes three waters reticulation systems, and pump stations projects and three-waters modelling, planning and design studies. We work within New Zealand, Australasia, the Americas, Europe including the United Kingdom through our Mott MacDonald’s international community.

Based in our offices in Central Auckland, you will work in an environment that fosters career growth and development and challenges you to achieve more.
The role involves collaborating closely with design teams to ensure project success, leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, implementing and maintaining projects controls such as scheduling, risk management, and cost control, strengthening client relationships, monitoring project progress and reporting to stakeholders, promoting continuous improvement through sharing lessons learned and coaching/mentoring, as well as leading or supporting proposals.
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will tertiary qualified with at least five years’ experience in project management. They will also have excellent client relationship management, communication, organisational and report writing skills. Furthermore, they should be comfortable working to tight timeframes and dealing with conflicts and project delivery challenges.
