Repack Computer Lead
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-4:30PM; Saturdays & Overtime as required

JOB SUMMARY:
The Repack Computer Lead directly supervises and documents various tasks and procedures associated with the Repack process. They coordinate the carton packing specifications with the product being repacked on the Repack lines or tables. This person is responsible for directly supervising operations, product conformance and replacing finished products back into inventory and storage. Each of the two Repack lines are designed for the production of specific commodities and/or packaging and is to be used in regards to repack instructions.
DUTIES & Responsibilities:
- Directly oversees and advises the employees on the proper unpacking, sorting and repackaging of the fruit in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with grade and condition standards and works closely with the Repack Supervisor and other management to synchronize the fruit flow and employee dispersal.
- Monitors employees’ schedules to include correct break and lunch times.
- Coordinates personnel and use of equipment (lines/tables etc.) for the most effective and efficient operation of the repack/rework process. To include delegation of minor duties for effective time management.
- Maintains the repack report, manually and/or digitally on the computer inventory system used to verify employees attendance and work hours as well as repack/rework records (incoming, outgoing and loss) of each specific product processed.
- Monitors and coordinates any bar coding necessary for new packages that directs carton printing, and verifies the correct application of printed labels and codes on the cartons as directed.
- Coordinates repack packaging conversions
- Coordinates the scanning and pallet tagging of the finished product and reintroduction into the inventory system and movement to the appropriate designated storage.
- Perform duties in accordance with Sanitation and Hygiene training and the appropriate practices/protocol.
- Collaborates and directly reports to Repack Supervisor any issues and need for support
- Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses repack production data.
- Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.
- Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills individually and/or from direction from Repack Supervisor.
- Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in repack production: coordinates necessary labor, materials, and other resources that are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.
- Responsible for timely communication with Forklift Drivers and Packing Supervisors to ensure fruit is staged for consistent repack.
- Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages. To include scales, sharps, pouch sealers, cleaning materials, packing trays and other packing materials.
- Is responsible to maintain all packing tools and machines in a safe and clean manner.
- Performs all assigned tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least two years of leadership experience is highly preferred.

Pay: $16.10 – $19.00 per hour
