Job Title: Registrar I

Job Summary: Performs receptionist duties and screens all personnel and visitors. Performs clerical duties for the department assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Enters monthly schedule requests

2. Collects and assembles time schedules for approval and copying

3. Orders, assigns, and maintains credential / regulatory records of companions and private duty staff

4. Orients patients and families about direct payment of private duty nurses and attendants

5. Makes telephone calls to obtain additional staff as necessary

6. Obtains, secure, and distributes Payroll Checks

7. Enters, records, checks, analyzes, classifies, and tabulates an assortment of data

8. Makes time changes as necessary

9. Enters and maintains a record of all vacations /licensure information for all nursing personnel

10. Records unit census and classification on daily staffing sheets

11. Updates and maintains employee information – license exp. /telephone numbers, etc.

12. Verifies all invoices for staffing from outside agencies

13. Makes adjustments to Ansos codes

14. Maintains inventory and assist staff with completion of Human Resource forms

15. Orders and maintains supplies as necessary

16. Answers correspondence from patients, families, and insurance companies for reimbursement purposes

17. Inputs patient classification information when needed

18. Files in employee records as needed

19. Copies reports and distributes

Requirements:

High School graduate. Two years clerical experience preferably in health care
