Job Summary and Qualifications

The Utility food service worker is responsible for providing clean and sanitary tableware, flatware, trays, carts and equipment for Food Service Departments. Their duties include transporting food carts and maintaining cleanliness of work area, removal of refuse from department in a timely manner. He/she adheres to policy and procedures with attention to appropriate details.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to read
• Must have a minimum 6 months previous food service experience preferred

License/Certification:

• Clark County Food Handlers Card Required (Grace Period till Dec 31, 2022 per guideline from Southern Nevada Health District,)”…our Environmental Health Staff will continue to waive demerits for food handlers without cards through December 31, 2022. (Important Food Handler Safety Training Card Update June 9, 2022)”

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
