  < HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE<<You will have a hands-on role in our warehouse to ensure delivery of our vast product line to our valued customers.<

  Verify quality of raw bulk product received from vendors.<<

• Individually count or weigh count product into boxes or bags.
• Label boxes and verify that the label information is correct.<
• Count individual finished good units to be shipped out to customer facing DC’s.<
• Operator will be required to occasionally dump stock into hoppers in order to achieve daily production. <
• Maintain work area with a surplus of totes, reflectors, boxes, and tote liners.<
• Communicate with team lead regarding shortages or overages of material.<
• Actively participate in LEAN and process improvement activities.<
• Supports the Safety Culture by following established SOP’s.<
• Engages in the local Safety Culture through safety team support and offering safety suggestions.
• Assists department supervisors in identifying risk to associates or the business and mitigate those risks.
• Actively participate in general housekeeping activities.<
• Assist with periodic physical inventory activities.<
• Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.<
• Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required<

  WHAT IT TAKES<

  
  The motivated individual we seek should have these qualifications.
• Internal certification to drive powered equipment within specified time requirements<
• Internal certification to pick DOT-regulated items, if required<
• Physical demands to successfully perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities): standing, walking, lifting materials up to 75 pounds (individual or team), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, climbing using legs and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, reaching high and low, repetitive twisting or pressure involving wrist and hands, hearing, seeing (depth perception and peripheral vision), mental coordination, mental alertness for entire shift, ability to wear personal protective equipment as required, and ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet
