Mt. Calvary Outreach Center is seeking a part time Office Clerk. Mt. Calvary Outreach Center is a local nonprofit serving the Kershaw, SC area with programs for seniors citizens, teens, children and families.

We are a faith based ministry seeking an individual to hire for an office clerk position. The Office Clerk will provide support to the Board of Directors and program staff.

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Pay: $15/per hour

Responsibilities Include:

• Answer telephones and respond to inquiries via telephone or email
• Perform administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying
• Create documents, maintaining databases and sending memos and emails
• Implement and/or develop office procedures and record systems
• Manage database entry and files
• Order and maintain supplies
• Document financial information
• Organize and distribute messages
• Making logistical arrangements for meetings or conferences, including booking travel, making reservations or organizing rentals
• Sorting and delivering incoming mail and collecting and sending outgoing mail
• Maintain confidential department files/records
• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks
• Assist with presentations and reports
• Running errands and making deliveries around the office or to external parties
• Preparing or processing invoices or estimates
• Packaging and shipping company materials

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of clerical experience, preferable
• 2+ years work experience with nonprofits, preferable
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience using emails (with attachments), scanning, filing, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Google

Drive – Google Docs, Sheets, Adobe, PDF, Quickbooks, Social Media administration, Online Banking and Bill Pay, PayPal
