Mō te tūnga| About the role

You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by greeting guests and making them feel welcome at the respective ski area. Other responsibilities include:

• Provide an efficient, polite, friendly and professional service to all guests.
• Ensure all lift users have a valid ticket/pass, including staff who must be able to present a staff pass at all times.
• Assist with hosting and welcoming guests to the Ski Area, providing on-the-spot directions and answering common questions.
• Deal with complaints, compliments and suggestions in a helpful and empathetic manner.
• Maintain an approachable and co-operative persona with co-workers and guests, both internal and external.

While ticket checking may be your primary responsibility, you may also be asked to work across other departments including lift operations, car parking and hosting.

Every Ticket Attendant will need the following:

• Knowledge of guest service principles.
• Ability to share technical information with other technical or non-technical people in a manner that is quickly understandable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Helpfulness when dealing with others.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Positive energy levels.
