As part of the customer service team, you will be challenged daily to help our customers make higher quality products that are faster, lighter, and stronger than ever before. We are looking for a candidate who will thrive while problem solving and working with our sales and operations teams, to create custom solutions to meet our customers’ needs economically and profitably. You will be creative in proposing improvements for the way we do things, and embrace changes in business. This role offers room to grow into an outside sales role, or exciting new areas of the customer service team.

What you’ll do:
In the hybrid role of Customer Service/ Inside Sales you will be responsible for providing support to our Outside Sales representatives, as well as driving sales by following leads and quoting to grow business from your own desk. You will build relationships with customers and internal partners alike to drive sales and strengthen the MTA brand reputation.
An ideal addition to our team will be a proactive team player with superior attention to detail and excellent time management. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will actively seek to grow sales and close the deal.
Key Responsibilities:
– Quote and follow up close the sale
– Technical product support for customers
– Warm calling and qualifying various leads
– Maintaining CRM/ sales funnel
– Order entry and follow up
– Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
– Dedicated partnership with an outside sales rep
– Competent understanding of MTA’s converting capabilities and converting processes
– Grow sales and margins
Position requirements:
– 4+ years’ experience in an inside sales role
– Highly motivated self-starter with aptitude for sales
– Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with high sense of urgency
– Proven results in growing, developing and managing accounts
– Processing of documents with accuracy and attention to unit of measure, balanced equation and other mathematical details related
– Understanding of full cycle distribution and sales processes, procurement and inventory systems
Preferred requirements:
– Previous experience in manufacturing sales an asset
– Previous experience with Streamline, Epicor and CRM tools an asset
