We are currently looking for an Automotive Technician to join our well-established client that is expanding in New Plymouth.

All work is carried out to a high standard, maintaining high levels of technical and customer service, which is supported by years of experience in the automotive trade.

• $30 – $40 per hour, experience dependant

The Role

• Performing routine servicing and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles
• Diagnosing faults using scan tools and a methodical approach
• Installing major mechanical and electrical components
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and dealership standards, and complies with industry safety and quality guidelines
• Supporting your fellow technicians while maintaining high standards of workmanship

About You

• 3+ years’ experience as a trade-qualified Automotive Technician
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Someone with excellent time management
• Have the ability to multi-task
• A friendly, self-motivated person passionate about learning and succeeding
