MYNEWJOB Looking for Warehouse Assistant at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Our client is a well established New Zealand owned and operated stockist of steel products with over 40 years’ industry experience, based in Wiri, Auckland.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Warehouse Assistant to join a small team of 2, assisting with the day to day warehousing operational requirements, including deliveries of steel products to local customers and clients. Training and support will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cut and prepare customer orders to customer requirements, operating cutting machinery, and overhead cranes
• Operate and maintain Plasma Cutting Machine
• Generate account and cash sale invoices on the computer and receive payment for cash sales
• Load and unload trucks in line with health and safety requirements
• Carry out local deliveries in the company vehicle
• Provide quality customer service including answering enquiries by phone as required and ensuring the safety of customers within the warehouse environment
• Maintain store cleanliness

• Mon-Fri, 7.30am-4.30pm
• $25/hour neg. ~ inline with your experience

Skills & Experience

Our ideal candidate will have sound communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow with the business, full training provided.

• Customer service skills and experience
• Current Drivers Licence
