MyStudio is looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Associate Software Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for our platform. You should have strong programming skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our cross functional teams. The ideal candidate has the ability to approach a problem from multiple angles and think creatively to find the best solution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software solutions for our platform
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and customer success personnel to ensure high quality deliverables
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise in development, demo and production environments
• Maintain and create technical documentation
• Performs integration of software components from both internal and/or external developers
• Analyzes business requirements and proposes solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 0-1 years of experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Javascript, PHP, C++)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and SVN
• Self-starter who can get up to speed quickly and work independently
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and possess a team oriented attitude

Desired Qualifications:

• Automated testing (Selenium, JMeter, etc)
• Experience with relational databases (such as MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server)
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with AWS technical stack (Cloudfront, API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, RDS)

Effectiveness in this role will be measured by:

• Number of bugs resolved
• Number of features implemented
• Speed of work for completion of tasks
• Code readability
