Napier City Council Looking for Receptionist – Napier Aquatic Centre at Napier, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand Full Time

At the Napier Aquatic Centre, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service to every swimmer and visitor. Our goal is to ensure that every individual who walks through our doors feels welcomed, informed, and supported in their aquatic endeavors. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist.

About the Role:

You will join a bustling community focused facility, on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is a full time 40 hours per week role, that will see you joining a rotating 7 day a week roster.

• Greet guests warmly, respond to enquires and offer assistance with facility usage
• Collect fees for entry, issue receipts and balance cash register at the end of each shift
• Maintain bookings register and assist with general administrative duties as required
• Foster a safety conscious, customer focused, high-performing team environment

About You:

• You’ll show respect and care for others in all you do
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
