Accounting/Payroll Clerk

Weekly Hours: 40

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager. perform daily GPS verification of driver hours for payroll processing. Assist with general accounts payable/accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Use company GPS system to verify driver hours daily for payroll processing.
• Assist in processing accounts payable as needed such as data entry, verification, reconciling.
• Assist in recording daily sales receipts for various companies as needed.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions; working knowledge of modern accounting practices and procedures; working knowledge of entering data into a computer; working knowledge of personal computers and excel spreadsheets.
• Three years experience with general AP and AR.
• Strong GL and Proficient in Quickbooks Enterprises, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Strong Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and superior work ethic
• Ability to manage multiply task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to do mathematical calculations quickly and accurately; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Team-player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of the business. Ability to work well in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness and communication among team members.
