[Evident Change has an opening for a researcher to conduct anequity-anchoredevaluationand targeted enhancement of the [Structured Decision Making(SDM)[ system within child welfare systems. TheSDMsystemis asuite of assessment tools that promote safety and well-being for individuals and families experiencing system involvement. The SDMsystem combines research with best practices, giving social workers a framework for consistent decision making and offering agencies a way to target resources toward those who will benefit most.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

• Expertise in research and evaluation of child welfare and/or decision-making systems (e.g., related to policies, processes, practices, and interventions in these systems).
• A strong drive to conduct research and evaluation of those systems.
• Ability to design and implement evaluation and research plans that include a CQI component.
• Ability to design and implement methods to collect and analyze data.
• Ability to interpret and report results independently.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of decision making in child welfare.

[The national average starting salary for this position is $75,000; compensation may differ depending on the employees experience and skill set and where the employee lives.
