Summary

This position is located in the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Assurance.

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program and Records Specialist with the responsibility for assisting with managing the program activities, developing and implementing policies and monitoring the Agency’s compliance with specific Executive Order and other responsibilities as mandated by law.

Responsibilities

As a Records and Information Management Specialist (Controlled Unclassified Information) GS-0308-12, your typical work assignments may include:

• Assist with the development of agency-specific policies and procedures related to Controlled Unclassified Information and ensures they are properly codified in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
• Keeps senior Agency management officials briefed on the agency-wide implementation of the CUI program on a reoccurring basis.
• Develop and conduct periodic RIM quality control reviews, compliance audits, risk assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of electronic systems and for general program improvement.
• Assist with the establishment of an internal oversight mechanism to promote consistent CUI practices. Services as CUI Training Officer and assist with the development and facilitates CUI training for agency personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,198.00 – $113,362.00 per year
