group focuses on epidemiology common human diseases complex traits. position emphasize on analyses longitudinal epidemiological data high-dimensional data derived high-throughput technologies such as genome-wide genotyping/sequencing, methylation, metabolomics, proteomics understand pathogenesis one more these diseases.
One primary projects Diabetes Study Nephropathy other Microvascular Complications (DYNAMO). DYNAMO aims determine genes processes involved in development diabetic kidney disease, identify them for earlier intervention. We measured genomics, lipidomics proteomics across diabetic samples community hospitals. Outcomes phenotypic traits be analysed with multi-omics data derive insights on pathways developing diabetes complications. Major duties responsibility post includes managing, extracting, analysing data omics datasets. addition, candidate required report writing, presentations, publication results findings in peer-reviewed journals.
