Looking for a fun, flexible and rewarding part-time job?

We are on a lookout for an experienced Chess Teacher in our Chess Academy in the UK’s first Interactive and Educational family centre, based in Dicken’s Yard, Ealing Broadway. You should be able to prepare and deliver exciting and fun lessons.

You will plan and teach well-structured lessons to small dedicated groups of students, following the curriculum and schemes of work and assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned students. You should be confident in setting, monitoring and reviewing personalised targets that will optimise learning for every student.

We’re looking for an outstanding teacher with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes. Our ideal candidate should have all or most of the following points:

– Experience in teaching at different levels, from novices to tournament players

– Bachelor’s degree-level education or another relevant degree

– Tuition in strategy, tactics, middle-game, end-game

– Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons

– Aim to thrive towards good and excellent results and form positive relationship with students and their parents
