About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager – Adult Education to join our team.
The Product Manager for Adult Education will play a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of multiple products and services within the Learning for Work portfolio by providing direction across a matrix of multidisciplinary teams. You will create a roadmap for your products and services based on your understanding of customer needs and market requirements and manage them through their lifecycle. You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and customers to ensure they are clear on the benefits of the product/service and that their feedback is being used to inform ongoing continuous improvements. You will be responsible for driving the financial performance of your portfolio and for driving the success of the NCFE’s Learning for Work propositions through a range of initiatives.
We are looking for someone who has:
- proven experience in a commercially focused role such as Product Manager, Commercial Manager etc
- excellent project management and analytical skills and the ability to home in on trends and themes, developing plans to maximize opportunity and mitigate risk
- strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess market potential and informing business direction
- proven experience in financial planning and forecasting
- ability to effectively interpret data and make sound, commercially focused judgments
- excellent leadership skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and work effectively across the business
- the ability to work fast paced, commercially astute and driven to take accountability for success of a portfolio
