PROJECT ENGINEER
Purpose
The Project Engineer will organize and guide our In-Line inspection (ILI) ART (Acoustic Resonance Technology) tool preparations in close collaboration with the project managers and the workshop. As well as to ensure that the pipeline inspection can be completed successfully at the client sites globally.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the ART ILI tool can be prepared on time and that all parts, consumables, and procedures are available prior to shipment
- Help assess project requirements per client scopes of work and aid with feasibility studies
- Define project item requirements
- Interface between project requirements and ART Scan tool preparation
- Prepare project documentations and procedures
- Interface between workshop and project management during mobilization and onsite activities
- Support and coordinate technical procurement with suppliers globally
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Multi-discipline understanding of electronic, mechanical and software
- Bachelor’s degree, e.g. Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Work Environment
- Works in a general office environment
- Occasional work in a shop/field environment
- Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions (hot, wet, cold)
- Occasional domestic and/or international travel
