To thrive as a Product Manager with Neilson Financial Services, the role holder will need be ultimately responsible for the success and compliance of our websites and associated channels. In their aim to improve each site, the Product Manager will define why, how and when our websites will be updated and will ensure that all changes are properly scoped, tested and ultimately delivered in accordance with our priorities, supported by a robust release management methodology and predefined schedule.

A successful Product Manager will need to flex their focus and move seamlessly across our brands, sites and models to ensure the websites are maintained correctly and performing to optimum standards. They also will need to have the necessary communication skills to work with teams located in the UK and USA on a day to day basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements and scoping of project briefs.
• Creation and management of project plans and timelines.
• Setting tasks to support wider project plans to ensure all requirements are captured in line with the overall plan.
• Create relevant tickets to refine the requirements for each new feature and clearly articulate the value proposition of a change to team teams who will be carrying out the work.
• Gathering task estimates and planning work/tasks for the Sprints.
• Leading the Sprint Planning meeting to go through all tasks and requirements so Teams are clear on the plan for the weeks ahead.
• Ongoing monitoring of Sprint tasks to ensure teams are hitting deadlines.
• Experience documenting requirements during the design phase a project including technical requirements that will later need to be briefed to the technical team.
• Leading Review meetings with Key Stakeholders and tracking actions/notes/next steps.
• Coordination of release deliverables and the timeline for implementation.
• Support the testing and release process.
• Management of dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and project milestones.
• Ensure feedback and requests from the business, testing and/or releases are seamlessly integrated into new feature planning and development processes.
• Maintaining release notes and regularly communicating the status of new features and releases to a core group of stakeholders.
• Management of various Trello and Jira boards to ensure tasks are created and being addressed in line with overarching priorities.
• Working closely with our Design Team, US and Dublin based Development Teams, Performance Marketing Team, Content Team among others.

Skills / Knowledge – Essential

• 3+ years’ Digital/Website project management experience (full project life-cycle) with responsibility for the success of the product
• 3+ years’ experience managing Sprint cycles and work/task allocation for a Design or Development Team
• Demonstrable experience managing senior stakeholder expectations

• Digital/Website project management experience (full project life-cycle) with responsibility for the success of the product
• Experience managing Sprint cycles and work/task allocation for a Design or Development Team
• Ability to manage a full (website/digital product) project life-cycle – from initial briefing, scoping, planning, executing, monitoring, to delivering the final product
• Knowledge and experience in managing Design teams and creative work delivery
• Strong understanding of Web UX & Design process & principles
• Experience working with both design and development teams, ensuring the handover from design to development is seamless.
• Proficient JIRA, MS Project and MS Excel user
