We are seeking 2 permanent, full-time Mower Operators to join our Nelson team. This is a great opportunity for outdoors enthusiasts, who have experience or an interest in horticulture along with some mechanical aptitude for working with mowing equipment.

In this role you will undertake mowing with commercial ride on mowers and work with a range of weed eaters and other small plant. You will also carry out a variety of parks and reserves maintenance activities such as weed control, planting of trees, shrubs and bedding displays, herbicide spraying and basic road maintenance.

Desired Skills and Experience

Ideally applicants will have:
Previous experience with a range of commercial mowing equipment
Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance on mowers and small plant
Full Class 1 Drivers Licence (HT, WTR advantageous; training will be provided)
A good level of physical fitness with the ability to cope working in all weathers
Positive, proactive approach with a commitment to providing excellent service
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time
